About Us

Greenville’s Gift is a nonprofit organization that gives clothing and other essential baby items to newborns in need in the Greenville, South Carolina area. We collect new and gently used infant clothing and baby items from the Greenville community, assemble them into a gift bundle, and then work with community partners to give them to moms in financial need.

How it Works

  • Donations

    Individuals and groups throughout Greenville donate gently used or new baby clothing, blankets, bibs, pajamas and more at a Greenville’s Gift drop off location or a pop-up donation drive.

  • Sorting

    Volunteers meet to sort through the donations. Donated items are separated by type of item, size, season, and gender.

  • Bundling

    Volunteers “shop” the donations to make a complete Greenville’s Gift bag.

  • Delivery

    Finished bags are delivered to our Distribution Partners who have the honor of personally gifting the bag to the new mom.

What’s in a Bag?

Each Greenville’s Gift bag contains items to last through baby’s first year and is valued at more than $300. Each bag includes:

  • 2 pajamas, 0-6 months

  • 2 pajamas, 6-12 months

  • 2 outfits, 0-6 months

  • 2 outfits, 6-12 months

  • 2 onesies, 0-6 months

  • 2 onesies, 6-12 months

  • 2 blankets

  • 3 bibs

  • 3 burp cloths

  • 2 infant hats

  • 3 pairs of socks

  • Coat, jacket or sweater

  • Book

  • Toy/stuffed animal

  • A handwritten note of encouragement
